Help us make Christmas a little brighter for families in our community. NCM is actively recruiting individuals, families and organizations to sponsor one or more children this holiday season. Your sponsorship can provide gifts, joy, and hope to children who might otherwise go without.

  • What is a Sponsor?

Sponors are individuals, families or organizations who shop for and donate Christmas presents for one or more child in the Giving Tree program.  One perosn may choose to sponsor a child, or multiple people may team up. It is common for local businesses, churches, and other non-prophits to participate as sponsors. A sponsor can choose to sponsor only one child, or more if financially able to.

  • How Sponsorship Works

Each sponsor will be matched with a wish list that was filled out by that child's parent or guardian. These lists consist of a combination of both wants and needs. Additional information such as favorite sports teams, characters, and colors will be included on each list.

Each family and child has a unique code that identifies them within our progam. These codes will be clearly labeled on each wish list. Sponsors are not given personal information of children or families.

Sponsors are encouraged to shop for and purchase between 4-6 of these item for each child they sponsor. A combination of both wants and needs is highly recommended. The minimum amount that should be spent per child is $150 and $175 for a teenager.

  • Returning The Gifts

Once all gifts have been purchased, sponsors are encouraged to drop off those presents in non-transparent bags. Each child should have their gift in a seperate bag, with their unique code labeled on the outside of the bag.

This year, NCM will have two drop-off locations. The code of the child/family sponsored will determine which location you need to bring the gifts to.

    Codes starting with "W"

    > NCM Warrensburg (3933 Main St.)

    Codes starting with "BL"

    > NCM Brant Lake (148 Tannery Rd.)

Specifics on drop off times will be announced later.
